Programme Structure
“GET that Job!” consists of four focused modules delivered through accessible digital platforms: Module 1: Power of Self-Discovery Participants engage in targeted exercises to identify their unique capabilities, transferable skills, core values and career aspirations. This foundation enables them to position themselves effectively in new professional contexts and articulate their humanitarian experience to diverse employers. Module 2: Crafting Your Winning Story This module guides participants through developing great CVs and application letters tailored to their target sectors. Practical guidance and personalised feedback help participants frame their experience in terms that resonate with potential employers across various industries. Module 3: Mastering the Interview The programme demystifies the interview process with proven strategies for confident self-presentation. Participants practise responses to common questions and receive constructive feedback in a supportive environment, with particular attention to translating humanitarian experience for different organisational contexts. Module 4: Building Your Professional Brand The final module helps participants develop their professional presence both online and in person. Participants learn to establish a coherent digital footprint, leverage professional networks, and present themselves confidently in various professional settings. |

The programme takes one calendar month to complete. A 60-minute launch meeting for Module 1 Written feedback after Module 2 (no meeting required) A two hour practice session for interviews after Module 3 A two hour presentation skills session after Module 4 Between sessions, participants complete approximately 2-3 hours of self-paced online learning per module, accessible via smartphone or computer.
